E-Newsletter - September 08
Welcome
to the September issue of the SEEDA Women’s Enterprise Newsletter.
The summer seems to have come and gone in a flash this year - here we are in September already. Nevertheless, I hope that you were able to find time for some relaxation and that it wasn’t all work and no play!
During
the past few months, we have been reviewing our women’s enterprise programmes to
ensure they support SEEDAs objectives and the Government’s Enterprise Strategy effectively.
Following consultation with our partners in
the public and private sector, we now have an updated Strategy for the South East which will be
launched shortly.
We’ve
also been making plans to develop the Women’s Enterprise Ambassadors Network in
line with national programmes and to fit our own resources.
I hope that you
will find it of much greater benefit as we move forward to really maximise the
network for everyone’s benefit.
Further news and announcements will follow in our next issue. As ever, if you have any news on your own activities, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
