SEEDA has agreed to pilot a Women's Business Centre in the region as set out in the Government’s Enterprise Strategy published in May. It’s something which has been a success in the US, helping many women to set up a business from scratch.
Women will receive advice and support through easy to access centres, in a supportive environment to build their confidence, skills and knowledge. SEEDA is working with the regional Women’s Enterprise Steering Group to shape what the pilot will look like and ensure women from across the region can access the services on offer.
