AMBASSADOR CAMPAIGN TO UPSKILL PA PROFESSION

Ambassador Rosemary Parr (pictured), Founder of the training development company Global PA Network joined forces with Kingston University Business School to produce one of the UK’s most comprehensive studies of personal assistants.  The study discovered that although modern secretaries are better educated and perform more high-level tasks than their predecessors, many are undervalued, bullied and asked to perform inappropriate tasks.  Click here to download an executive summary of ‘Secretarial Work, Skills and Careers 2009’.

The Global PA Network is now conducting training and development programmes for Secretaries and Personal Assistants in conjunction with Kingston University Business School. Rosemary is campaigning for a nationally recognised PA qualification to raise the skill level within the profession. Click here for more information about the Global PA Network.
