AMBASSADORS INSPIRE THE NEXT GENERATION OF WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS

Successful franchise owner Katie Mayne took time out in December to inspire the students at Limpsfield Grange School in Oxted, where she spoke about her business experience. Teacher Julie Taylor was very pleased with the students’ response and reported that the 15 year olds thoroughly enjoyed the session, commenting: “Now they will raise their own expectations of what they can do”.

Meanwhile, Prowse MD Joanne Rogers (pictured) spoke to two classes at Reigate School in Surrey, where she highlighted the benefits of business enterprise.  Teaching Assistant in Business Studies and ICT, Kaye O’Donovan said: “Joanne pitched her talk just at the right level for the students and also reinforced several messages that we are trying to give the students about working hard and taking responsibility.”

If you would like to speak at a local school or college and would like some help, please email Joanna Ashmead.
