The South East Ambassadors Network
Celebrating Women’s Enterprise
The Ambassadors Network brings together women and men who are supporters of women’s enterprise.
Free to join, members range from business leaders to self-employed consultants and policy-makers - what they have in common is the desire to encourage and celebrate the achievements of women in business.
More than 140 people have joined the South East network, which forms part of a wider national initiative, supported by Government.
Ambassadors are tasked with promoting Women’s Enterprise as they go about their daily working life. They are also encouraged to send out press releases to their local media and speak at local community and business events.
In order to make this easier, SEEDA provides a range of support materials including:
- Background information and briefing papers
- Press release and case study templates
- Details of local business support agency networks
In return, Ambassadors are invited to attend networking events to share experiences, make new contacts and learn more about the key issues.
