The Women's Enterprise Advocates Programme
Spreading the word through Advocacy
Starting or running a business can be daunting but knowing or reading about someone who has already done it, can be a great inspiration and education...
The SEEDA Women’s Enterprise Advocates Programme brings together successful women business leaders from across the South East to champion the cause of women’s enterprise.
Selected from a broad range of sectors, advocates speak about their experiences at events and to the media to provide inspiration and confidence to other women. In return, they are provided with free tailor-made training for the role and benefit from an enhanced public profile.
Through the Advocates Programme, SEEDA also seeks to raise the debate about the barriers of entry to business which women face including access to funding, child-care and confidence issues.
The programme is delivered by SEEDA in conjunction with Prowse & Company Ltd. To find out more, contact Joanne Rogers at Prowse on 01372 363386 / joanne@prowse.co.uk
